Nannochloropsis salina 1 lt. to reduce nitrates and phosphates Product Description Nannochloropsis salina is used to reduce elevated nitrate and phosphate levels. Dosing in the morning hours allows the Salina culture to continue photosynthesis during the photoperiod. Nitrate and phosphate dissolved in the water are absorbed and utilized. What is Nannochlorosis used for? Coral food, trace elements, vitamins 1) Reduces nitrate content 2) Reduces phosphate content 3) Converts nitrate and phosphate into food for lower animals 4) Trace elements are supplemented How it works Through a mass proliferation of bacterial strains that contain, among other things, these unwanted pollutants as food, these substances are transformed into living matter (plankton) in the water. The resulting cloudiness initially lasts a few hours, then much less. This plankton can also be used excellently for raising very small larvae and zooplankton. The product may contain traces of zooplankton. Dosage: Coral Care and Feeding: Add 50 ml per 100 liters daily (for example, in a 500-liter aquarium, this would be 250 ml per day). Ideally, turn off UVC/ozone systems and protein skimmers for about 1 hour. There are no negative side effects to worry about; overdose is also impossible. Phytoplankton absorbs nutrients from the water, resulting in improved water quality. Adding it to the aquarium helps corals thrive much better. This plankton can also be used excellently for raising very small larvae. 100% organic, 0% chemical
